Flopedia Engine · effective 26 October 2026

Flopedia Engine ("the app") is a personal, single-user service. It is run by one person, its owner, for their own use, and is not offered to anyone else. This page says what Google user data the app accesses, why, where it is kept, and how access can be revoked.

Data the app accesses

The app accesses no data of any other Google user. It has no sign-up and no other users.

Why

The data is used only for the owner's own notes and knowledge system: keeping a searchable copy of the owner's notes, a history of their changes, and reports for the owner. The owner's own assistant sessions (Claude, through a connector the owner set up in their own account) read these files when the owner works with them; that is the purpose of the app, at the owner's request, not a transfer to anyone else.

Where it is kept

A copy of the files the app reads is kept on a server the owner rents and controls. The data is:

Access to the server is restricted to its owner. Connections use encryption in transit, and the app's Google credential is stored with restricted file permissions. The copy is kept while the app runs and can be deleted by the owner at any time; deleting it loses nothing, since the Drive remains the original.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke the app's access at any time: Google Account → Security → Third-party access (myaccount.google.com/connections), select Flopedia Engine, and remove its access. The app then stops reading and writing the Drive at once.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Flopedia Engine's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

Any change to this policy is published on this page with a new effective date.
